More Broken Promises - Another Immoral Law.

So the limp, doorknobs in the Liberal party did it, they passed (read as
forced through) Bill C - 38, which means after the Senate gives approval
(and they will, since they are the personal lap - dogs of the ruling party
of the day - Senators are appointed by the Prime Minister in Canada,
they are not elected, so they automatically do his bidding)

It will be legal for Gay couples to Marry.

In spite of having phone, fax and Email systems jammed up so solid
with opposition to passage of this awful piece of tripe, that at times
phone and fax systems were unusable, and Email boxes jammed,
they passed it, ignoring the public, yet again.

They have done this before, with many different bits of legislation
and I for one am tired of it, it's time to make some changes
in Ottawa:

1) A fully elected senate. (equal, elected, effective).

2) Change the way Supreme Court justices get their
jobs (presently, it's the same as the senate, appointed
by the PM) - they are accountable to no one, and un - elected.

3) All votes in the house should be open and free, except for budget
votes. (Again, one of the reasons this bill passed was because
three of the four party leaders ordered caucus/cabinet members
to vote the way they were told, on pain of punishment to vote
for this bill, this is garbage and has no place whatsoever in a
true democracy)

4) The Parliamentary Ethics Commissioner is currently also a rather
large joke, it's time that he/she was chosen by a joint ethics committee
reporting and responding to them, not to the PM as is currently
the case.

Well, I have rambled a bit much for one day, I'll ramble some more
once the smoke billowing from my ears clears up.
